A Legal Nurse Consultant (LNC) is a Registered Nurse (RN) who applies clinical expertise to legal matters. LNCs review and organize medical records, summarize clinical timelines, identify documentation issues, and provide objective clinical context to support case evaluation and litigation strategy.
Legal Nurse Consultants do not provide legal opinions. All legal conclusions, case decisions, and determinations regarding standard of care are made by counsel and retained experts.
